Jim does jib and spinnaker trim and relief driving .If you find
him ahead of the mast it is because no one else wants to go and things
must be desperate. Jim also runs and bikes and kayaks and canoes ,
put him in a boat and he's
happy. Jim and his wife Pam also have a Cape Dory Typhoon |

| Charles "CHAZ" Hornewer has been a
member of the Windancer crew since 1984. During that time he has managed to avoid any jail
time (serious anyway) and has raced hard on Windancer 3,4,5 & 6. He has seen Sam
go from a pretty young thang, posing for fashion shoots, to a law school graduate who
would still rather be on the waves. Also during those years, he has been involved in
some of the more storied Windancer events: The maiden voyage to the Port Huron College of
Cosmetology; the first volcano party; match racing against Melges and the Heart of America
crew, and infamous Port Huron Mac race where we were "Going down, down,
down...." By day, Chaz is a lawyer and wanna be triathlete. At the tender age of 41
he finally stopped dating way-too-young aerobics instructors and married a way-too-young
gymnast. They now have a wonderful daughter, Marley, named after the reggae legend.
Notice: No one on this crew will ever, ever date her, especially Flip and Jeff. |

Joel is a long time regular on Windancer. He has accumulated many
honors over the years including "First to Chainsaw a keel off
Windancer" and his latest title: "Effluent Flow
Engineer". He is the only one that can answer the much debated
question: Does shit flow downhill.....even on a boat? |

Jay is Windancer's mast man and navigator. How do your
rationalize those two assignments???? Well, if he doesn't know where
we are, he has to jump the heaviest guy on the boat up the mast to take a
look. He also takes care of the electronics on the boat and when at
home he amuses himself by writing amusing prose for the boat's web site. |

Earl is new to Windancer's crew in 2001, so he has not earned a
nickname yet. As you can see, he has already found his home trimming
the main. |

This is Matt's first year as full time crew. He will be running
the pit with lots of at least verbal assistance from a variety of
screaming Nedeau brothers.... |

| Don makes the occasional appearance
in Windancer's pit area. Actually, we only invite him along, so

| Annie Shea works the runners on
Windancer. She seems to be the only person capable of being in the
aft half of the boat without feeling the need to express an opinion on
everything. We are sure she gets her demure behavior from her mom:
